Farmville Downtown Partnership (FDP) is excited to welcome Chelsey White to the organization as the new Program Manager. Chelsey comes to FDP as a Farmville native and a graduate of Prince Edward County Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia with a strong background in non-profit work and experience working in high school and higher education settings. She is excited about returning to Farmville as a professional to apply the principles she studied during her time at UVA and to give back to the community that has given her so much.
As the Program Manager, she will share her passion for bringing the Farmville community together, supporting the local businesses, and creating programs and activities that will enhance downtown Farmville. “I am thrilled to be part of an organization that helps make Farmville a fun and attractive place to work, play, and live.” said Chelsey.
Jen Cox, president of the board for FDP, shared her excitement with the hiring decision. “We’re thrilled to welcome Chelsey to the team. Her talent will be an invaluable addition to our ongoing efforts to serve our historic downtown Farmville district.”
